    Exclamation Emily Decent

    Hi there,
    I am having trouble with my maternal grandfather's second wife, she is something of a mystery, any help would be greatly appreciated, this is the information I have of her.
    Her name is Emily Decent, she had a daughter named May Faith Decent, and we think she was unmarried before she met my grandfather. who was John Walter Gollings. We don't know her age when she married and know nothing of her immediate family or where she lived. Thank you in advance to anyone who can come up with some information. We have recently found and May Decent who was born around 1895, born in Lincolnshire, but we are not sure if this fits.

    Hello Telliselldra

    If getting a cedrtificate, I would suggest you get May' birth certificate...why because there are 3 trees on A********, only one appears to have the correct fDECENT amily information on, ref Emily to John Walter COLLINGES but no mention of May. He is the grandson of MAry DECENT, Emily's sister

    This looks like your Emily, you need to get the marriage cert to prove her fathers name and the bith will give her mothers name aswell. To find May Faith Decent father if it is listed you will need her birth cert.
