Thread: Tracing my Gr Gr Granny's birth place

My Gr Gr Granny was born in Scotland, I believe in or around Edinburgh in 1920.
Her name was Margaret Douglas Watson. She married Thomas South 1844 in Hereford.
Please, can anyone tell me where she was born so that I can get her birth certificate?

Have you got the marriage certificate for her and Thomas South in 1844 ?
It should give you her fathers name which will help in searching.

1871 says scotland
1881 says lanarkshire (widower)
1891 says scotland
she dies in 1892

there are a couple of possibilities in edinburgh in 1841 scotland census. as said marriage cert would help
