I have been trying to find the parents of Francis Connop born in Tipton around 1786. He married Elizabeth Pane born around 1791 in Tipton in 1807. He died in Church Hill Wednesbury 1845. His son Benjamin Connop born January 3 1808 in Tividale was my ggfx4. I have numerous Connops in the Halesowen area but cannot go any further without the missing thread from Francis. I have tried to find his parents for the last 9 years but cannot find any trace of Francis, Tipton and Dudley are my only clues.

Have you looked at the actual Parish Register entry for the marriage? It should indicate his Parish of origin.
