Thread: Robert Henderson

Robert Henderson bc1791 married Janet Clerkson in 1814 at Morham, east Lothian, they had 10 children and moved to Sussex in the 1830/40s where they both died, Robert in 1855 and Janet in 1844, Again I'm trying to find out who Robert's parents were?
Also the marriages and deaths of some of his children:
Janet born 30 Aug 1821 at Morham
Jean born 24 Oct 1826 in same place
Futher query regarding Marion b 28 Mar 1829 at Morham and died 30 Jan 1900 at Haddington who had a daughter, Mary b1855 in England of no known father but she was living at Haddington in 1871-did she ever marry, etc?

Presumably you have researched this family, as you know there were 10 children, you want help in

1) Finding Robert b circa 1791 baptism and parents

2) the marriages and deaths and presumably the lives via census of the 10 children, you only give 2 names

3) Marion b 1829, the father of her child b 1855 somewhere in England....tall order?

Can you give some more family info, children's names, birth year, place etc

Did all the familyh move to Sussex?

1841 census reference etc.

Hi All,
I have all the info on most of the children and now Robert and Janet's ancestry. The children where nothing is known other than their birth and baptisms are:James, Jean and Janet, as well as grandchild Mary. You can see what info I have at The Rosser-Henderson World Family - Family Tree where the access code is rosser. As to the familysearch site, I've put a tree on there so it might be mine that gives the other info.
