Thomas Peel - Looking for information on the father and name of the mother of Thomas Peel. He was born June 1, 1826 in Bow, London City and later married Mary Ann Jones. His father was a draper named Thomas: Nothing else is known nor is anything known about his mother. Thank you.

You will probably need to purchase the marriage certificate, this should give you the name of both of the fathers, which you require to move back further, and particulalry as you are searching JONES from Anglesey!

I have had a look but not yet found your Thomas Peel born 1800 c in Yorks you think? I wondered why you are fairly sure he was born in Yorks?
if his son was born in Bow?
I can see son Thomas born 1826 London, living with wife Mary and five children plus Ann Jones in Chorlton cum Medlock in 1861 but i have not yet found Thomas' baptism in Bow let alone his father's.
There are at least four Thomas Peels born around 1800 in West Yorks.Born 6 March 1800 bap. 31 Aug 1825 parents John Peel and mary Peel. His occ. a comber.
Thomas Peel bap 5th April 1801, son of Thomas Peel of Gt. Horton Yorks at Bradford St Paeer, Bradford cathedral
Thomas Peele 2nd August 1801 son of Jeremiah Peele and Sarah at Birstall St. Mary.
There is a Thomas Peel aged 50 living in Manchester in 1851 . He and family are all born Holefax Yorks.?
But he is a card maker not a draper.But he is on 1861 census living in Chorlton Upon Medlock St Lukes(where the younger Thomas Peel born London is living in 1861.
