I wonder if anyone can help me find out any further information on my maternal GGG-grandfather... Frederick Bolton Kennedy. He is the father of Frederick Kennedy and George O'Brien Kennedy, both high profile lawyers in Dublin in the 19th century. We believe that he was a law clerk by profession. We know that he died age 46 and was buried in St Marks Parish on 13 September 1857. He was a resident of Fair View, in Clontarf at the time. We are uncertain of who he married, although at the family grave of George there is a Jane Shaw Lowe interred, who would be about the right age for a mother or aunt. Rumor had it that Frederick Bolton had also married one of the Bunbury's (of the Roberts of Kandahar Branch) at Hampton Court, but we have been been unable to corroborate that. Any help would be gratefully received- he's been a real brick wall for the whole family!
