Default ann Dutchman ( nee Wacey)

I have ann in 1841 & 1851 census with husband living london. husband died 1858.
    cant find ann in 1861...
I have found in 1861 an ANN WACEY, age 80 with william burton (as mother in law)... but cant work out if this is my ann... any ideas?

this is what i have on ANN:

ann dutchman was born c1781, she married Edward Wacey 18 Mar 1807 East Dereham, Norfolk.

they had 5 children & lived in shoreditch & Hackney - london.
    children:
susannah Dutchman Wacey b1808 (married Robert Vinson Lister 1833 London -6 children)
Robert Wacey married Mary ann Clayden Lister 1835 - 3 children
    Edward (b & d infant )
    Edward Samuel Wacey b 1814- d 1848 Shoreditch, London.
    John Wacey b 1819 - married emma harcourt 1841 london- 2 children

One of Robert waceys grandchildren was called ALFRED BURTON WACEY. (b1863, d1869). wonder if this is anything to do with the burtons?

    Hi lisa

I have searched marriages first saw you Ann Dutchman and her sister hannah marrying george Wacey and another george wacey wed Ann Moore 23 sept 1817 - im wondering if this Ann is emma burton mother .

Also found Robert on Dereham P.R. bapt 1808 Father Edward Mother Ann nee Dutchman

Have not however found as yet Emma births to rule her out .

    Hi Lisa
Found a few deaths on Freebmd
    Wacey Ann March 1851 SHOREDITCH v2 p295
    Wacey Ann June 1853 LINTON v3b 6
    Wacey Anne June 1858 MITFORD v4b p223

After much searching on the 1861 census you found with Ann as mother in law , I think its doubful that its yours Lisa .

    Hi Lisa,

I can't help with your specific query at the moment, but I can tell you that it looks like we may be distantly related. I have a handful of East Anglian Dutchmans in my tree, and they're the source of some peculiar names in later generations of my family. My great-grandfather was Barlow George Smith (though for some unfathomable reason he was always known as Phil), he was named after a relation called Barlow Dutchman. I think the oldest Dutchman record I have is of Thomas Dutchman, born 1809 in Swaffham, Norfolk. I suspect he's possibly a nephew, or cousin of your Ann, especially if the name Barlow appears in your tree anywhere (or Lavinia, that's another unusual name they used).
