    Default Fathers burial

I need to know where my father was buried. His name was Leonard Daniel Garrett and he died 13/6/1972. He died in St Bartholomews Hospital City of London. I would be very grateful for any help.

Thanks so much for the help,milford_lass. I phoned St Bartholomews but they don't have that kind of information. Do you think if I phoned BDM that they may know?

    Hi Ruth.

Did Barts say that they did not record that type of information, or that they did not hold the records for that period?

Hospitals usually record the name of the undertaker who collect a deceased person, which would be a great help to you. This link may be useful:-

When I phoned Barts the guy I spoke to said that they don't have that kind of information. I don't know where to look next.
