I am trying to trace my ancestor George Fox who was born in Taunton in approx 1802. My first information on him is his mariage to Eliza Dickenson Riches in 4 Oct 1828 St Matthews Bethnal Green. A witness to this was James Fox. I do not know what his relationship was to George. In the 1841 census he is listed as being a cloth cap maker, in all subsequent census he states that he is from Taunton and dies in 1863 a hatter. Possibly he learnt his trade from a relative?
Any help that you can give me would be much appreciated

The 1851 census has George's occupation as a Silk Weaver and daughter Eliza 18 her occupation was a Cloth Cap Maker .
My guess James is the father/ brother

Typo error with unsure, couldn't read it at first and didn't delete enough...I mean both baptisms even though quite far apart, both have Manchester street as the address if I read it right. Have been looking at the London BMD's

I am looking for information on a George and Eliza Fox as well. I am looking for the parents of my Great Grandfather Cornelius Fox who were listed as George and Eliza Fox. Cornelius was born in London in about 1853. He left for Canada in approximately 1865. There is no knowledge of any other family members. Any information would be great.
