Can you help find out where my grandfather Isaac Stratton was born. Born 1898 I think, died 1926 in Newcastle upon Tyne.
No knowledge of an accent different to local geordy.His father was a deceased miner called Henry in 1923 when Isaac married Honora Sewell.

Isabella remarried to John WEATHERLEY and was living in Burnopfield, Durham. She had two more children Martha Straiton 1903 b Felling C/ Durham and Dora Straiton 1907 b Dematon Durham.
