    Exclamation Thomas Swinnock

    Hello,

I have a brick wall because I don't have the skills to accomplish what I need to know. One of my ancestors Thomas Swinnock (b. 1563 d. 1642) left a will appointing his son, Robert Swinnock, to act as executor. However, another son, John Swinnock (who was a preacher!) burned the will and took items out of the house before anyone could itemise them. Robert was, understandably, annoyed about this and took his case to the High Court. There were lots of to-ings and fro-ings between Robert and the court and John also put his case to them. This was all perfectly understandable as it was written in English (once I'd translated it all). However, the sentence has been written in Latin and I can't understand it! Is it possible that one of your panel has some understanding of Latin and can tell me what the outcome of the case was? I have it as a .pdf document but I don't know how to attach it to this, I'm sorry. I could email it though.
