Thread: Thomas Johnson or Johnston

I have some Irish Ancestry and I don't seem to be able to find any answers,my Great Grandfather was Thomas Johnson or Johnston he was born in Ireland in 1864,I know his Father was William Johnston from the marriage certicate of Thomas.
Thomas married Alice Alice Lyon on 17/01/1886 at St Peters Church,Liverpool,at the time of his marriage he lived at Vauxhall Rd and he was a Labourer.
The witnesses on his marriage certificate were Harvey Little and Alice Breakall
I do not know when he came over from Ireland or whether he came alone or with his family.
I have not been able to find out anything about William Johnston,I would really like to know when he was born and where and also the name of his wife
