Thread: Charles Stapleton Maunder.

For many years I have been trying to find more about the ancestor(s) of Charles Stapleton Maunder.

Charles Stapleton Maunder was born in Martock, Somerset on 16th January 1823. I was told that his father's name may have been John Stapleton Maunder and his mother's name is not known. Charles, a tailor, moved to London where he married Jane Rowe on 16th May 1846 at St Pancras Old Church, Camden Town. Charles's address was shown as Tottenham Court, London. Soon after they moved to the USA.

My "brick wall" is to find out anything about the marriage (and wife) of John Stapleton Maunder - and John's parents.
