I have managed to get my hands on Margaret Riddle Lambs entry in the register for her death.

The death was registered on the 19th June 1879, registrar A.S Dodds.

What I am trying to find out, is what happened to Margaret Lamb?

I have tried to find her on the Scotlandspeople web-site but she doesn’t seem to be there.

Did she die in England? I have found a Margaret Lamb who died in Liverpool in 1879

Surname – Lamb, Given name – Margaret, Age - 23, District – Liverpool
Volume – 8b, page – 59

But before I take the leap of faith and buy the Death Certificate only to find it is not her, I thought I would ask for some help

or, did she run away for some reason, leaving her child behind and die much later.

I would appreciate any help in locating Margaret.
