Thread: Frank Barker Williams

My Grandfather, Frank Barker Williams, was born on 3 Aug 1896 in Swansea (according to his death certificate). Barker is apparently his Mother's maiden name and his Father was John Williams a carpenter who was deceased by 1931, When he married my Grandmother Rachel Mary Jones (according to the marriage certificate). I cannot find him in either the 1901 census or 1911 census. By 1927 he was working on the farm where my Grandmother lived, Dolwen (Ddolwen) at Llanfihangel ar Arth. He moved to Rugby in Warwickshire in the early 1940s, where he spent the rest of his life (3 Jan 1982). My Grandmother, who perhaps could have helped, died in 2003, before I got the genealogy bug. I would dearly love to find details of his birth so that I can find his ancestors.
