Kate Jane Pogson born 1884 25th March to Catherine Pogson 1851 and William George Pogson 1841 in Belgrave ...she had a sister Edith jones pogson
Kate married Thomas Gordon Wolstencroft 17th Feb 1909
In 1911 Kate now called katherine jane wolstencroft is back with her sister in their family home 30 Gloucester street Pimlico and it says she is a widow
In 1912 15th July a child Katharine Charlotte williams is born to Kate jane williams late wolstencroft formerly pogson FATHER William Henry Williams = builders clerk
In 1913 child Evelyn Florence born 25th sept FATHER William Henry Williams =Accounts clerk , this baby dies 13 days later father accounts clerk
In 1916 Evelyn Florence(2) born 22nd Jan FATHER William Henry Williams = Writer Royal army clothing dept
In 1934 ...by total luck I found death of William Henry Williams age 58 builders clerk 3rd Jan at 93 Sydney Street London IN ATTENDANCE = K J Williams 41 Westmoreland street ...This house was their family home that mum went to as a 5 year old
In 1935 Dec 15th Katherine Charlotte married Stanley Victor Busby She says her name is Katherine Charlotte Wolstencroft- Williams .Her father William Henry Williams

Where did Thomas G Wolstencroft go?
No records at all, one that went to america but we think this is the Thomas G wolstencroft born in America
Who is William ? no birth certificate as no idea where he came from? No Army records that lead him to my family
Is there ANYWAY of finding William henry Williams birth certificate or even a marriage to Kate Jane in 1911-1912?

You are looking for Thomas Gordon WOLSTENCROFT you know he married 1909, to assist in searching records for him, can you state hisapprox age in 1909 and who his father is! Both will be recorded on the 1909 marriage certificate.

The same applies to William Henry WILLIAMS

Yes I have their marriage certificate Married 17th Feb 1909 hes down as a motor engineer and lived at 21 larkhall rise Clapham his father is Robert Wolstencroft a civil servant retiredhe was aged 29 !!

Elaine how did you find this I,m totally amazed and really will never be able to thank you enough coz it looks like him. Why would he have been in India?

Elsbels...I have NOTHING but this mans name William Henry Williams from his 4 childrens birth certificates which I have all. also his death certifiacte which I took pot luck at and got what seems the right one as Kate was there at his death!

Now I,m really sorry for delay but my computer picked up a nasty virus from another site and that was that!!!

Yes thats the Wolstencroft family ...and we think he married below himself which may answer why he was prehaps "sent to India". His father was a post office worker and on the 1911 census him and his wife do say they have children whom are born but died and the number would now include Thomas Wolstencroft.....So that now matches.
Now Thomas "could" be my great grandad as I couldnt find my mums birth it was put under wolstencroft-williams and my nan declaired her father to be Thomas wolstencroft BUT only on her marriage certificate not her birth certificate ...what is the likely hood that my nans birth was left unregistered for a year to fit the Wolstencroft man as her father??!!
Could you tell me how I can get Thomas Wolstencrofts death certificate?

As for William That is great and I can now trace him and see if anything else matches with his family.There doesnt seem to have been a marriage of William Williams and Kate wolstencroft/pogson
