    Exclamation Constance Mary Hampson

Constance Mary Hampson was born in Dukinfield in Cheshire in 1892. Constance left my father Walter Hampson Child (DOB 27/7/1911 and known as Walter Hampson), in a home in England in 1913 and from there she went to South Africa to join her mother Elizabeth Lawton Whittaker a widow to Harry Atherton Hampson and then wife of Edgar Tamplin Child ,but they were separated at the time. Edgar died in Connecticut in 1929.
Constance then went to the USA in 1916 and the last we know of her she was in Massachusetts. From there we have hit a brick wall.
Could you please help trace Constance Mary in America as my father died without ever finding his parents. As he would have been 100 this year, I would appreciate every help possible.

    With thanks
    Connie Smith nee Hampson

Have you found Constance on the 1911 cenus?

If the 1891 census info is correct, how is Harry connected to John P?

    Hello

I have just noticed your reply. Thank you. This is the correct Constance Mary Hampson. Harry Atherton hampson was Constance's father and John Platt Hampson her uncle. I am now trying to follow up the possibility of constance mary Hampson as the wife of Lelan Wilson who was born in Rhode Island, Massachusetts. I am atm waiting for the birth certificate of Constance mary Wilson's daughter "Ruth". Have a look at my Hampson/Smith Family tree.
    Regards
