Thread: brick wall in portugal

my great grandfather was born in 1841 the 1881 census says spain but the ships log i have from st johns newfoundland says lisbon portugal a researcher has looked for his birth in lisbon but has found nothing i dont know where to go next was he born across the border in spain? i am really frustrated by this.

sorry about that hazelnut i am new to this site his name was LUIS VASCO his fathers name was JUSTINANO PINTO VASCO he was a farmer according to LUIS marriage certificate.
