Thread: Elizabeth Martin

I have hit a brickwall for many years. My gr gr grandmother Elizabeth Martin abt 1829 not sure if Scotland or Ireland. I found her on the 1851 census in Renfrew, she had a daughter Mary Crossam/ Mcrossan between 1851-1853 to Michael Crossan/Mcrossan who was also at the same residents in 1851.Michael then married a Ellen Michan in1854 and I can trace until death Daughter may is not on any of the census with Michael and new family. Daughter mary married Robert Kelt in 1877 . I cannot find any thing on Mary or Elizabeth between 1851-1877. Any help appreciated.

As it states Elizabeth born Ireland Occupation Bleacher age 24 born abt 1827
Living with a coalmining family .

Thanks for the help. That was the address on the 1851 census. I cannot find her after that, the story is that Mary was raised by an old aunt noone knows where. I have tried SP no success she just disappeared. Mary got married to Robert Kelt in 1877 it's says on the death cert that elizabeth was deceased.

Thanks for your help. That could be her I have no other information on her. I got her name from her daughter mary's marriage certificate.
