What I'm after is an 1841 trace of Jeffrey Drain, wife Elizabeth Hannah [nee Ebdon] and dau Frances.

This shows a move across the water 40-42 William is actually born Sep Qtr 1843

At no time does she appear as Betsy, always Elizabeth. Jeffrey died in 1875, and Elizabeth disappears off the face of the map then.

4 Norris Rents has a Ann EBDON d/maker widow Bermondsey aged 65 ( this is being desperate!!!!)

The 1841 census was taken on 6 June 1841 so the baby at #g was born 3/06/1841, the birth could have been registerd in q2 ( ap-Jun) or q3 1841. Only candidate is Susannah DRAIN her baptism suggests she was 2 months old at 30/05/1841 and her mother was Susannah, father Robert, looking good for your family! No birth registered and baptism, but then Geoffrey is b 1842 & baptised with his younger brother in 1844, albeiot on the opposite page of the register.
