    Exclamation Charles Henry Evans

    My great grandfather, Charles Henry Evans born abt 1852 in Staffordshire,England, shown on marriage certificate and childrens birth certificate as Henry but full name on their marriage certificates, married Eliza Cotterill at Hanley in the district of Stoke upon Trent on 24/2/1973 (marriage certificate shows father's name John (deceased) both John and son were colliers, I cannot find his birth or christening in the UK and nor would you believe can I find his death in NSW. He and wife Eliza came out on 19/7/1879 with four children. Rose A,Henry,Nelly and Catherine.
    I do hope you can help, one of his sons is my Grandfather.

    Hello

    How have you confirmed that Charles Henry EVANS was born 1852 Staffordshire? Widen the birth year to 1854 then there is a C H EVANS b Stoke on Trent, what was his late fathers trade?

    This is the only Charles Henry I could find in Stoke about 1852. Are you sure about his father's name?

    When were the Children born 1873 -79 ? did they have more children in Australia? where did they settle in Aus and what was Charles occupation?
