Thread: Emma Perry nee Gable

Hello everyone,

Emma Gable was born in 1857 and married Thomas Perry in 1875.

They had a son George born in 1878. Thomas died in 1878.

According to the 1891 census, Emma is now Emma Garrett, widow, living with her son George Perry and a daughter Florence Garrett.

There is a marriage for an Emma Perry to a Frederick Garrad in Sep 1881, a birth of Florence Garrad in Sep 1888, and the death of Frederick Garrad in Mar 1890, which correlates to Emma being a widow with a three year old daughter.

Can I assume that Garrad and Garrett are the same?

I can't find any of them in the 1901 census. Does anyone know where they were at that time?
