Thread: Arthur James Baker

On 9th Feb 1918, Arthur James Baker, age 40, a widower married Annie Looker in the parish church of Tooting. He gave his fathers details as Albert Baker (Deceased) Lieutenant RA.
I would be interested as to whom his first wife was, and a census for Arthur and his parents.

I know nothing about Albert Baker (the father) other than he appears on the marriage certificate of Arthur James Baker to Annie Looker in 1918. I have a death for Arthur James Baker in 1952, estimated age 77 - this would a birth in abt 1875. But at the time of marriage he was 40 which would give a d.o.b. of abt 1878. Other than the 1918 marriage took place in Tooting, I have no geographical information about either Albert or Arthur.

I have found a potential previous marriage to a Katherine Mary Ann Arlidge in Qtr 4 1897 in Fulham, she dies in 1904 in Kingsclere Hampshire. (But I need to find out what happened to the child of that marriage)
