Thread: Jane Grant

I am searching for the family of my great grandmother Jane Grant. She married Donald Bain in Glenlivet in Auchreck parish, Banff on the 25th January 1866. Her father was James Grant and mother Margaret Anderson. I am trying to find out if she was in any way related to the Grant family who started Grants Whiskey. I would appreciate your help

This might help you , It started with William Grant born Dufftown in 1839 with his family of 9 children , If you have him as one of your ancesters i'd be inclined to try and trace the family line .
