I tried to send my request earlier today but had a 'computer glitch' so I will try sending it again.
I am trying to find information on my ancestor SAMUEL ELLIS who was born abt 1815 in England, possibly Devon. In 1838 he married CHARITY PALMER b abt 1814 and in 1839 they sailed for Australia and settled in South Australia.
I have information on the family once they arrived in Australia but I would like to know who Samuel's parents were.

I found this one for Devon on Family Search.. This would make Samuel about 19 years if it was him before he set sail to Australia unless he was born a few years before he was Baptised.
