My grandmothers family are Garnetts, earliest George Garnett apears to have died before 1841 census, his wife Amelia remarried. George and Amelia (Sandercombe)married in 1835 & had 4 sons
Can anyone shed any more light on George & Amelia please?

Alverstoke is a suburb of Gosport.
Working on the assumption that this is the correct Amelia, a possible marriage for her parents, but perhaps a little early:-
James Sandercomb married Mary Brown, 14th March 1795 at St Mary's Portsea.

Hello Jean, There are a couple of public member trees on another forum A******y.co that have George and Amelia recorded..Siblings for Amelia listed as Edward born the 12 November 1800..Bridget born 10th March 1803..Charlotte 26 December 1804..Charles 14th October 1807..Eliza 9th August 1815. Births recorded as Holy Trinity, Gosport, Hampshire, England..
I then found a second marriage for Amelia on Family Search....
