I see what you mean.
It seems that there are two likely 'John Treasure's. In the 1841 Census, one is with an older Edward Treasure and the other with Maryann Treasure, both at Stoke Lane.
Although I hate to say it, I would not always rely on the information in Online Trees. Just looking at one of the 'sourced' trees, it has John Treasure with a source from one of the 1841 Census pages I have referred to above and his father 'Edward' linked to the other.
How is John Treasure linked to the 'tree' you are working on? How sure are you that he is the son of Edward and Ann?

Referring to the above, I alos found 2 x John TEASURE listed on the 1841 censu in the county.
Can you give us more information about the JOHN TREASURE you have been looking at, to include vocation, and any census referneces children etc....
