Peter Collins & Bridget Farley - Find their Marriage

I cannot find a marriage for my Great Great Grandparents Peter Collins and Bridget Farley. THey were both born in Ireland Peter - 1841 & Bridget 1837 and appear on England Census in 1871 living at 9 Fishers Yard Dalton Barrow. In 1881 they are at Power House, Barnacre with Bonds Lancashire. Peter is not on the following 2 census's but Bridget is still listed as married. She is also down as the Head of the family and they are living at 358 Livesey Branch Road in Livesey Blackburn Lancashire.

If anyone could advise on marriage details or even where in Ireland they were born and perhaps when they came to England I would be VERY grateful as this has eluded me for a couple of years !

Having looked at info saved on a tree, they have Bridget's family here

1851 HO107; Piece: 2226; Folio: 574; Page: 36
Lancashire > Manchester > Ancoats
Mathew Farley 44 Head Wid Labourer in chemical works
Bridget Farley 17 Dau ? in Cotton Mill
Michael Farley 15 Son
Ann Farley 13 Dau
Mary Farley 11 Dau
Patrick Farley 8 Son
Patrick Higgins Lodger U 18 Labourer
All born in Ireland

Sorry not saved to tree, several census returns saved by someone who has the same info you have given

According to the 1871 census Peter was born in Preston in 1839 - later census say Ireland.

The first four children were born in Preston between 1861 and 1869. therefore Peter and Bridget must have been in the uk at this time. I can find no marriage in the UK at this time or any sign of them in the 1861 census. This would suggest have married in Ireland prior to their entry in the UK. The census appears to only state the birth place as Ireland, no town or county. Are you aware of any sibblings for Peter and Bridget ?

Hi - other than the siblings for Bridget as per Elaines census info for 1851 (which I was not sure was my ancestor) I have no other info certainly nothing for Peter.
