Hi. Am trying to find the marriage of Charles Stather born Dec 1822 at Seaton Ross East Yorkshire, to Esther? Believe Charles could have had a previous marriage to Anne Clarke on 7th April 1814 at Cottingham as there is a portrait of a Charles Stather in the family with the name of Anne Clarke on the reverse with that date on it. Know Charles and Esther had at least 6 children. They moved to Methley area about 1870 as my gg grandfather, also called Charles was born at Ackton, nr Methley in 1874. Have found a marriage in 1879? of Charles Stather (widow) to Esther e able to help.Elicar at Pontefract. This Esther was born at North Dalton East Yorkshire, the place of birth of Esther Stather on the 1861 census. Has anyone any info they could share please? Thanks in advance to everyone who may be able to help.
