    Default Immigration Brickwall

While I have been relatively successful with regard to the family trees of my wife's maternal & paternal ancestors and my own maternal ancestors, I have encountered a "brickwall" on my paternal side.
My grandfather (Karl Konrad Weller) died in London in March 1913 having married my grandmother (Ellen Mabel Roberts) in November 1903 and fathered 4 children (Frederica, Charles, Christian and Henry).
Karl was a German whose father is named as Lodwed Weller on the marriage certificate.
I couldn't find Karl in the 1901 Census, so I assume he arrived in the UK between 1901 & 1903. I couldn't find his name on any incoming shipping lists so am at a loss on how to track his roots in Germany.
Any advice on how to find his name on entering the UK or how to track down Lodwed Weller and his roots in Germany.

    Hello

Did your grand father apply for naturalisation?

He was a baker, with his own business?

    Could his father be Ludwig...

There is a private tree on A*******, with the 1903 marriage netry tagged to it!

    Thanks.
I guess Ludwig is a possibility that I should check out.
How can I check if he was naturalised?
My grandfather was a "master baker" and I can't find his name related to a London bakery at that time. Maybe I haven't found the appropriate records yet.
The private tree is probably mine!
