Hello, My husband's grandfather, Ralph Tunstall, was born in Sauchie, Clackmannanshire, Scotland in 1885/6 and appears on the 1891 Census. There after he sisappears. We know that he married in 1917, had his first child in 1918, second 1919 and three more childred. His wife Janet (Graham Fraser) died in 1942 and he died in 1965 in Irvine. We have information that he was a gamekeeper and moved about Scotland for his work. The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders in Strirling Castle tell us that he received an award for nine years service in 1906 (this would have made hin join up at eleven! Could anyone suggest where he may have been in 1901?
