Well, I have looked without success! Came across three LANE kids, Robert, Mary and John, in Liverpool in 1881 (will give you details if you can't access census). They are noted as lodgers with a great many other young children - perhaps some sort of school?

As you have John's marriage and death cert do you have his parent's names/occupations?

No I too have looked do you think perhaps he wasn't born in Liverpool? maybe he thought he was or perhaps he wasn't sure. He may have moved there at an early age - but he certainly doesn't show, maybe his name was mistranscribed. I eventually found a Mellor transcribed as Miller! also found him under the name Melons it took me a long time to find him.

My GG/Father John Lang born 1838 In England ,Could be Wales?,Wife Anna Schroderwilner would really like to find him as i have found no other results so far,Anna Schroderwilner could be from Lichfield England,they had a son John Leslie Lundbeck Lang,Born 1872 Liverpool England,would like to have his correct details if possible ,Many Thanks Bertjl.
