Thread: Charles Savory Death

Hi Guys

How do I go about finding out the death of my uncle Charles Savory, born 3 March 1886 to Frederick Savory & Charlotte Rook in Henlow, Bedfordshire?

I found a death in 1972 in Bedford County Pennsylvania, but cannot find a obituary or death certificate from that time. and am unsure if he is the correct person.

I found Charles's first wife's death in 1931 in Brantford, Ontario Canada with no problem, along with a death certificate. Charles and his wife Lily became Canadian Citizens,

Any Help will be greatly appreciated

Do you have the death of the second wife? Might give us another starting point

Just looked at quite a few trees on A******* and they have the Pennsylvania 28 June 1972 date and also a photo. No mention of a second wife.

There's a couple of passenger lists with him and Maggie going to 31 Langford Road, Henlow Bedford

Charles 3/3/86 builder
Maggie 28/7/01 housewife

It MUST be post 1955 as this is the latest date recorded for them coming to the UK,

If Charles died in the US surely there would be a SSDI number!
