I have conflicting data, that I hope someone can help me unravel it. Am I just too close to this and can't see the obvious that a fresh pair eyes can?

Main problems:
* If Albert is listed as married in 1901 census, but Alice was not, who is married to who in 1896? Had he been married before?

* Alice's father is named as Thomas (dec) on marriage certificate, but according to 1881 & 1901 it is Charles, so who was her father? Or do I have the wrong family?

*5 chn were supposedly b. in England before they emigrated to New Zealand, yet it seems that only one came out with them
