My great grandfather Edward Bernard was a solicitor in *Buckhurst Hill where several of his family were born in 1874, 1875 and 1877.
Where can I find out more information about where they lived or worked in Buckhurst Hill?

Children Emily, Violet and Edward are all listed as being born in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, so from these births Edward Snr would have lived there circa 1875-1878.
On checking the 1874 Post Office Directory for Essex he is listed as a Private Resident living New Road, Buckhurst Hill. There are no solicitors listed in the Parish so it looks like his place of work would have been elsewhere.

The family in 1891 can be found at RG12 0636, only I note on your tree you have not captured it!
Check out books.google.co.uk for references to a practice of solicitors, but he may have been employed by a company or concern. The practise maynot be under his name but that of others!
