Default Occupiers of Original House - Can you help?

Our house is in Windsor - Address removed by AA staff. I would appreciate your help in advising whom were the original owners of the original house which was surrounded by a farm and horses and called "Castlemead". In particular, we found a message written by Winston Churchill to Castlemead, Windsor and would love to find out the owners of the house- could it be the Marlboroughs?. Your help is appreciated, to find the original ancestors of the land.

    Hi,

I have transcribed the following references to Castlemead, Windsor for you.

The Pall Mall Gazette Friday, 25 February, 1898

The Ladies Innes-Ker have left Brook House, Park-Lane, on a visit to their grandmother, the Dowager Duchess of Marlborough, at Castlemead, Windsor, where they will stay while the Duchess of Roxburghe is in waiting on the Queen.
