Hello
I am trying to find information about my ancester Thomas Griffen Rawlins. So far I have an approximate date of birth of 1796. (Birthday between 6/Jun (date of 1841 census) and 24/Dec (date of death)) based on his age of 45 in the 1841 census. This is pre-GRO so how do I confirm a dob and find his parents to try and get further back? Any help would be much appreciated.
This is what I know about him so far;
Possibly born St Annes Parish, Soho, London -all his children were.

OCTOBER 24, 1836 he served on a jury at the CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT, London.
1841 census living in Gerrard St (presumably No 13 - the family were still there in 1851), married to Susannah and has 5 surviving children.
Thomas Griffin Rawlins (Snr) died at 13 Gerrard St. on 24/Dec/1841. Cause Consumption, informant Thomas Griffin (jnr). aged 46.
