    Default hover, dover kent

hello on the 1911 census i found my great great grandmother emily hover born 1884, aged 27. listed as living at the common, godmersham, kent. uk. she is listed as being married but the name doesn't appear also one of her children listed is ernest hover aged 4 born 1907 who is my great grandfather. this seems to be all the information i can find, i know my great granfather eventually settled in a place called milford haven in west wales which is my family home. If anyone can help with any information about this family it would be much appreciated.

Hi there, I did find a birth for Emily Hover but in Bethnal Green and the year is 1882.

    Births Sep 1882 HoverEmilyBethnal Green1c207

I did find a marriage for 1903 December Quarter for Emily Spain to
Albert George Hover.. Dover 2a 2312

There is this birth for 1906
    Births Dec 1906 HoverErnest HenryDover2a1091

Possibly this could be your Great Grandfather? Maybe this birth ties in with the above marriage...To find out if the Mothers maiden name was
Spain you would need to purchase the Birth Certificate from the GRO (General Records Office) Certificates can be purchased on line.

hi yes my great grandmothers maiden name was spain and she shows up on the 1891 and 1901 census as SPAIN, listed as a servent in the 1901 census. The birth of ernest henry hover ties in with my great grandfather ernest henry hover, who also has a twin brother. They eventually moved to pembrokeshire in west wales but im not sure whether it was just the children or with the parents. The above says that a emily married for seven years, is there any way of findind out wether she divorced or was widowed?

Having found that and more, I now know there are at least 6 other researchers showing this family attached to their Family tree on A******* a subscription site

    Hello

The baies are described a gt grandsons, Annie as a grandaughter Albert as a grandson.

    Obviously the children are Annie's,

    Annie Elizabeth HOVER b March 1871 Dover 2a 885

    marriage Annie Elizabeth HOVER = Henry Barnet B HOGBEN q2 1898 Dover 2a 1932.

It is likely that Annie is sister to Albert......? BUT I just cannot see Albert George's birth entry

Relationship, Mary grandmother and gt grandmother ( miss a generation parents of Annie & Albert) assume they are siblings, census returns will confirm relationship, baies ara nephews to Albert and children of their mother Annie and gt Grandchildern of Mary

You effectively have 2 more generations added to your tree

Do oyu have access to the subscription sites, if not we will let you have the full dialogu of the records

i've found albert george hovers marriage to emily spain in dover kent 1903 with the birth of a son also named albert george the year after in 1904. In the 1911 census though neither albert george senior or albert george junior show up on the census but emily is still registered as married but i cant find any death certificate of either albert georges?? also pre 1901 there seem to be no record of the hover family
