well done just had this confirmed by my aunty who has josephs birth cert, he was born aug 1872 and his parents were thomas and catherine(nee burns)wild,

also there is some sort of link with ARABS and the WILDS! all we know is something about kids called Diana but pronounced deerna and a sin david!! maybe the derby area? maybe josephs sister or aunty? be interesting to chase that one up!!!
