Thread: Bob Marshall

Hi i've hit a brick wall with a Bob Marshall born in Nottingham abt 1860. He married Hannah Warton Torry in 1879 in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Hannah Warton Marshall is on the 1881 census living with her parents at 56 Mowbray Street, Brightside Bierlow working as a Cigar Maker. But where is Bob?
I have them both living together with their children (Betsy Jane and Ellen) and a Niece called Florence Smith in 1891 at 7 Portobello Street, Sheffield and he's a General Labourer.
In 1901 they are living at 59 Wakefield Road, Dalton and he's working as a Navvy but strangley his name is now James Marshall (not Bob!) and all the other details match ie spouse and children ages and places of birth (and Florence is now listed as his daughter not niece).
If anyone can help i'd really appreciate it.
