Joseph William Birch 1845

Hello,

Please could I request a 1871 census look-up for a Joseph William Birch born London about 1845 and his wife Louisa. I think they were living in the Shoreditch area. They had children David Arthur born 1870, Louisa Isabella 1873 and Harriett Emily born 1875. If I'm not mistaken, Louisa died about 1878 and Joseph remarried and had two daughters, Mary 1888 and Rose 1890.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks very much for that. I wonder what happened to the family after that? I think Joseph may have married an Emma after Louisa's death.

Thank you, Lady Marion, but although I can find Joseph and Emma on the 1881 census, I'm wondering what happened to the three children as they weren't with them. I know that David Arthur Birch died in 1896. Emma and Joseph had two daughters, Mary born 1888 and Rose born 1890. Joseph seems to have died in DecQ 1890. I would therefore be very grateful for a 1891 and 1901 census look-up for Emma and her two daughters.

For Ref purposes only Sudjhr,

Births Mar 1890 BirchRoseHackney1b523

Shoreditch and Hackney not that far distance wise but I can,t find Mary's birth for 1888 keeping within the two places for Hackney and Shoreditch. There is a Mary Gertrude born in Westham in 1887 and another Mary Elizabeth for 1888 in Whitechapel..
