Thread: Robert Henry Drake

Have you seen the entry for a Phillip Moon 1841..as Moors on A******* Mother Mary and Phillip look like they have the occupation of Hatter, not sure how much info you have and you don't mention if there was a father for Robert on his marriage cert also. Was trying to look round the name to try and pinpoint one of the couple

Think I might have found them in America 1851 Census!
Found a Mary and Phillip Moon in Newburgh, Orange, New York and not far away is a Robert and Sarah Drake, Robert is a tailor, no children. Didn't know how to reference this for the best

There is a tree on A******* that has Phillip, sister to Sarah Isabella living as I have found in 1850..William Sexton Moon father, Mary Church mother.
The passenger list has him sailing 23 Oct 1843, Phillip then marries and is in Wisconsin 1860, mother still alive. William Moon died 26 Nov 1822 in great Yarmouth.

Thankyou , sorry i didnt put Roberts father to which was Spencer Drake occup. Royal Navy his mother Eliza nee French . i am only assuming Eliza Drake witt to Roberts marriage was his sister and Phillip Moon was Sarah Isabella brother . If correct Phillip was abroad when Robert and Sarah wed .

The Drakes were in Acle from 1841
