I have hit a brickwall with my grandfathers family. In 1901 all were traced on the census, some sisters away in service, everyone else at home working or in school. By 1911 three sisters are in service and three brothers working and living away from home. My great grandfather, recently widowed, states all ten of his kids are alive, names his housekeeper, a possibly illigitimite granddaughter, a son born since the last census, but no mention of 25 year old son Ralph or 11 year old daughter Orman. I can find no trace of these two anywhere. Supposedly they are not dead and have not emigrated. Puzzled but live in hope, Laurie Richards

Hi There, did a quick search for you in regards to Hazelnuts findings above and its possible that Ralph married Millicent Culwick .The other person named on the free bmd above was William H Neal..There are no births recorded for Neal/Culwick after 1911 but there is for Richards to Culwick.

    Millicent was born...

    Births Mar 1883 CULWICKMillicentDudley6c88
