I am trying to trace Mary Millim or Million. I have found her in the 1881 census:

well as william and dorothy featherstone did not marry until dec qtr 1871 i am assuming the older two children were illigiitimate and will be found under the featherstone name. i cannot find dorothy in 1871 but can see her as servant in 1861 and home with parents john and mary in 1851. but i see you have that info.

i cant see dorothy or mary in 1871 but is this john?? fathers name looks more like mullion on original

Many thanks for all the info. Its nice to have a few extra children to add to the family.

Welshlady, the Wm Melligan you found is living with his future brother -in -law, and his mother. When Wm was born she was unmarried, and later married James Broderick (Snr) in 1854. James then died in 1862.
