    Exclamation HOGBEN, Edward

In tracing back the Hogben side of my family, I hit the brick wall at Edward Hogben. Edward was born about 1798, possibly in East Lympne. By 1825, he had moved to Horton Kirby and married Elisabeth French. He shows up on the 1841 census in Horton Kirby and on the 1851 census he is listed as living at 37 High Street Horton Kirby and Lympne is given as his birthplace.

I'm looking for any help that can be given on verifying the connection to Lympne and identifying Edward's parents.

    Thanks

    Al

Thank you for your response. I've now been able to confirm the link to Thomas and Elizabeth from another source. Of course, this just sets a new challenge, moving back one more generation.

    Thanks, Al
