My Brickwall is my Gt Gt Grandfather's birthdate ; his name was William RHODES born around 1806 Pudsey/Stanningley. I have his marriage details,he married Esther CRAVEN c. 29/3/1807 Stanningley on 24/8/1829 at St Wilfreds Calverley I haven't been able to trace anything else about him other than he was a Woolcomber.I have found the surname listed as ROYDS on the Pudsey 1851 Census but I have been completely stuck for any other information for years!

With regard to hos date of birth, only if the 'Vicar' has included this titbit within the Parish Register, other wise you are looking for the date of baptism!

It may well be that the registers for which you are looking have not been digitalised and made available on line yet, I cannot find and entry on this site Familysearch.org.uk
therefore a visit ( you do not indicate where you are!) to the Record office maybe needed to search the Parish Registers,
