Arthur Frederick Thomas (1877-1933) grandfather born Simonstown, Cape, South Africa son of
Thomas William Thomas (1846-1818) gr-grandfather born CapeTown, Cape, South Africa son of
Thomas William Thomas (1818-1885) gr-gr-grandfather born Neath, Wales son of
Thomas Thomas and Catherine
Here I am genealogically challenged. This is what I know about my g-g-grandfather.
Born in Neath Wales about 1818 (calculated from his death notice). Neath may be town or district. He married my gr-gr-grandmother Sarah Fielder in 1844 in London as a widower with a daughter named Elizabeth. His occupation was Mining Engineer and his father's occupation was Founder. His father was deceased in 1844. He sailed to SA in 1845 with wife Sarah and daughter Elizabeth.
Would like any information on my gr-gr-grandfather, his parents, his first wife, his daughter, how he go his trade.
