    Exclamation Edward Grayston.

I would sooooooo love some help with my maternal gt grandfather. Edward Grayston. I have his marriage certificate but can find no recoord of his birth to be able to get a birth certificate and progress from there. I'd also like to know what connection we have to a M GRayston that had tea rooms in Felixstowe.

Fingers crossed I am chosen soon!

    Regards
    Ruth

PS do we have to post again each week to be entered in the draw or is this a one time only post??

Name: Arthur Edwin Grayston Year of Registration: 1882
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec District: Ipswich

This is the info RuthieB has so far

Ok so the info I have so far is
    Ipswich area, Suffolk, UK

Edward Arthur Grayston DOB 1885 Place of birth ?? Death 1949 Ipswich
19/11/1911 Married Maud Alice Macready (19 years old) both living at 52 Finchley Road, Ipswich. He was a Stage Manager at Picture Palace she was a dressmaker.
Edwards father was a John William Grayston and a carpenter.

I think John William Grayston was married 3 times and I am unable to find which of his 3 wives was also Edwards' mother.

Any help relating to Edward would be brill. Also if anyone knows any history of the Tearooms that Matilda Grayston had and also a confectionery store both in felixstowe. Tearooms was on Undercliff Road East, Confectioner at 42 Hamilton Road This I found in Kellys Directory 1916.
