    Exclamation Frederick Warner

    I have been trying to trace my maternal grandfather's brother. He originally lived in the Englefield Green area of Middlesex and he emigrated to Canada before the second world war, and settled in Saskatchewan British Columbia. His name was Frederick Warner. We know he married and had children. When I was trying to locate his descendents, I even contacted a local radio station to Saskatchewan (hoping they remained in the area), but no joy. I even wrote to newspapers etc. This seems to be a complete brick wall, as his family now, probably don't even know we exist. I have got some more information that I can locate, but will have to look through it, although I don't think I have a great deal of information, think it is just his date of death and maybe a son's name.

    The other brick wall I have is my great great grandfather. He was I've been told an illegitimate child of a maid with a Lord Montgommery. That is about all the information I have on his father, as he was never registered on the birth certificate. As before I have information on his birth (the child he fathered) including dates, his mother's name etc., and place of birth registry, although again, I would have to search for the information.

    Hi figment;
    Some more info on your Canadian connection would be helpful...approx birth date of your maternal granduncle to start, when he died and where and whether he was in Saskatchewan or British Columbia (there's about 600 miles between them!).

    As there is no other information, we are going to have difficulty in assisting you with this query, suggest you post as a NEW thread

    Saskatchewan British Columbia has me confused, do you mean Saskatchewan & British Columbia?, they are 2 provinces in Canada. If you mean the province of Saskatchewan I might be able to help you if you give me the name of the town or cemetery he is buried in. I have access to several rural municipality history books for Saskatchewan.
