Ada Stein death

Can someone have a look and see if they can find Ada's death.She was born Ada Barton 28 Jan 1868 and married Alfred Stein 28 Mar 1891.In 1911 she is living in Islington with her mother but shown as Ada Barton-widow.Interestingly I could find no death for Alfred 1891-1911 on freebmd.

Can you tell us please what year Alfred was born and did he have any other names?
I have found a few deaths for Alfred Stein but after 1911..
There is a death recorded in Lambeth for 1927 age at death 80 years..You mentioned Islington and Lambeth is not that far away as places go both being in Londons East End..
Also,Ada might have not been a widow in 1911 Ed..You stated she gave her surname as Barton so maybe Alfred and she went their separate ways so Ada decided to call herself by her maiden name..Just that very thing happened in my own family tree...

The death sounds right according to age.Have not looked at Alfred very closely but according to census he was born abt 1866/67 so the birth looks good.The marriage cert shows his father as Alfred-musician.

Can you re check the latest census info on the actual sheet, BARTON is not the name I see....

The death in 1927 I am pretty certain is the father

in case your interested there is a 'brief' GROHMANN - STEIN tree on a site, it doew not show Alfred b 1866

Alfred Stein 1867+/- 2yrs does not appear in 1911.Ellis Island shows 3 Alfred and 4 Alfred G Steins however all show their ethnicity as USA
